Spindle (Hedging) is a UK favourite when it comes to hedging solutions, for its original use was for making spindles from the wood. A large and deciduous tree, that is most spectacular in autumn when foliage turns scarlet red. Small flowers fade to give way for winged fruits that birds will love. Height: 4m (13′). Growing Information
Grow Euonymus europaeus plants on moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partisl shade. Plants will tolerate exposed and coastal gardens, and may give better autumn colour when grown in full sun.
