This late-season variety bears shapely, juicy fruits with a delectably sweet flavour. From June to July, the orange-red berries are abundant, yielding impressive crops. Strawberry ‘Malling Allure’ fruits are of exceptional quality, with uniform shape and firmness. They also keep well after picking, so there’s no need to eat them all at once, even if it’s tempting! 30cm (12″) tall. Height: 30cm (12″). Spread: 50cm (20″)
Growing Information
Plant strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny position in well manured, free draining soil. Plant strawberry plants every 45cm (18”) in rows spaced at 75cm (30”) apart. Avoid planting them too deeply as this may cause them to rot. Alternatively try growing strawberry plants in hanging baskets or in specially designed strawberry planters for the patio.
