This Tulip is a stunning perennial bulb, perfect for adding colour and excitement to your Spring garden. The double, peony-like flowers display bright purple-violet petals tipped with white which contrast beautifully against the strong, mid green stems. ‘Blue Spectacle’ stands at approximately 50cm high and blooms in late Spring adding structure and colour to any mixed border, they also make amazing cut flowers. These bulbs are easy to grow and are most effective when planted together in a group or alongside other spring bulbs.
Make sure to plant ‘Blue Spectacle’ in a sheltered area with access to high sunlight levels, ideally full sun. These bulbs are able to grow in moist or well-drained soil and any soil type or pH. They also thrive when pot grown in patio displays.
