‘Chocolate Chip’ is a stunning hardy perennial that flowers from April until July. It generates masses of lilac-blue blooms that contrast beautifully against its popular chocolatey purple coloured foliage. This low maintenance Ajuga has a low growing habit and makes the perfect colourful carpet and weed suppressor. It is great for adding to woodland, cottage and wildlife gardening schemes, whilst also adding something special to pathways and borders. This Bugle will develop in height to 10cm and has a spread growth of around 15-145cm, it will thrive in any position and is a magnet for pollinating insects. It will arrive to you in a 1 litre pot.
Growing Information
Grow Bugle plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Plants will perform best in partial shade, as full sun can cause leaf scorch. Ajuga will even tolerate poor soils in full shade. Makes excellent ground cover for shady corners.
