This lovely Michaelmas Daisy, as the name suggests, produces an abundance of double, lavender blue flowers beginning in late August, when other plants are starting to fade. Aster novi-belgii ‘Lady in Blue’ has a compact, dwarf habit that is ideal for patio containers or edging the front of borders. Its nectar-rich blooms are loved by pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for wildlife gardens. Growing Information
Plant Michaelmas Daisy plants into fertile, moist, well drained soil, and situate them in full sun or semi shade. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.
