The new foliage of this evergreen, twining climber, emerge with a distinctive bronze colour which gradually fade to green as they age.
From early summer the yellow flowers start to appear, these contrasting beautifully with the colourful foliage.
Growing Information
Plant honeysuckle against a suitable, sturdy support such as trellis or strong wires attached to walls and pergolas, in fertile, moist, free draining soil. Poor soils can be improved by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade. When growing honeysuckle in patio containers, use soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
