Large, mahogany-red blooms with yellow centres on branching plants. Early blooming. HHA – Half hardy annual. Height 20-25cm (8-10″).
Growing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approximately 15-20°C (60-68°F) using a good quality, moist compost. Cover seeds with 6mm (¼”) sieved compost (Germination 5-14 days). Transplant seedlings spaced 5cm (2″) apart in trays and grow on in good light. Acclimatise plants before planting out 15-23cm (6-9″) apart in a sunny position. Alternatively sow thinly direct outside into finely raked moist, weed free soil where the plants are to flower.
