The ‘Gala’ apple tree is a great tree to add to your garden, especially if you’re interested in growing your own fruit. This beautiful plant has dark green leaves from spring to autumn, which are dropped for the winter. In the spring it will be covered in gorgeous displays of pink and white flowers which give way to the autumn apples. Not only is the fruit delicious, but it is also incredibly rewarding to know that you have grown it yourself.
This tree will grow well in any well-drained soil but avoid chalk. The soil should be kept moist. Keep it in a sheltered position where it will receive full sun.
