Phormium texax is a large, robust species, with thick, dark green leaves with blue-green undersides. In hot summers, towering flower spikes may appear – the twisted seedheads can be quite attractive too and add an extra dimension to the winter garden when they become coated in frost. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
