Tell Me More…
A scented sensation, Amarine tubergenii ‘Belladiva Anastasia’ will attract bees and other pollinators to your garden and will introduce fabulous fragrance to your home if cut to make a long-lasting addition to floral arrangements. A cross between Amaryllis and Nerines, Amarine bring heavenly hues to your borders and containers. Bred specifically for the cut flower industry, the lily-like, trumpet-shaped blooms are larger than those of nerines and are far more striking too. Forming sprays, with wavy re-curved petals the blooms are held on leafless stems in late summer and into the autumn. A hardy bulbous perennial, coping with temperatures down to around -10°C, Amarine tubergenii ‘Belladiva Anastasia’ prefers to be grown in very well-drained soil in a sunny position, avoiding any winter wet. Growing to a height of 45-60cm, clumps of strap-shaped foliage will be formed, each spreading to around 30cm.
