Tell Me More…
Vivacious Verbena hybrida ‘Magelana’ Collection is composed of 3 large, long-lasting plants with flowers from late spring through to autumn. Fern-like leaves are held from March to October forming mounds of trailing foliage even before the flowers appear. Blooms will attract pollinators to the garden and this variety is resistant to deer too (if you garden in an area where this is an issue).Vivacious Verbena hybrida ‘Magelana’ Collection comprises three varieties: ‘Peach’; ‘Hot Rose’; and ‘Violet’. A fantastically vibrant colour mix for baskets and containers, with an intensity which does not fade even in the hottest sun (with the exception of the ‘Peach’ variety, which starts off a dark peach colour and fades to a softer hue as it matures). This lends a beneficially subtle vibe alongside the intense ‘Hot Rose’ and dark, intoxicating ‘Violet’ varieties. All plants are drought tolerant once established and prefer well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun. Tender annuals which reach a height of 20cm with a spread of up to 35cm.
