Tell Me More…
Nepeta ‘Neptune’ is sure to make waves in the garden with its deep blue and daintily marked towers of blooms for you, your garden visitors, your feline friends and any visiting pollinators. This exciting new variety has even caught the judges’ eyes as it was on the shortlist for Plant of the Year at Chelsea in 2019! Nepeta ‘Neptune’ will bring reliable colour to your garden from June to September each year when flowers emerge from clumps of foliage with green, serrated edged leaves. Foliage is retained from April to October – making it great ground cover for any bare patches in the borders as well as for filling a pot or container. Nepeta ‘Neptune’ is a compact variety which reaches a height and spread of 30cm which prefers a site in moist, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Once a good root structure has established, plants are exceptionally drought tolerant and happy in gravel gardens or rockeries.
