Tell Me More…
One of the longest flowering Tiarella, Pink Skyrocket produces a profusion of slender wiry stems which rise above the foliage, holding a mass of small starry pink flowers from April to November. A shade loving relative of the Heuchera; grown for their stunning foliage. Neat mounds are formed by the deeply cut palmate leaves, each one looking as if it has been delicately hand-painted. In autumn, the foliage turns bronze if grown in the sun, and black if grown in the shade.Tiarella Spring Symphony has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Low maintenance, Tiarella are happy in both borders and containers, making excellent weed-suppressing ground cover; spreading by stolons and naturally producing offsets. These plants can remain undivided for years. Deer and rabbits tend to leave Tiarella alone.Tiarella are woodland plants originating from Asia and Northern America and prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in part shade. Tiarella Pink Skyrocket grows to a mature height and spread of 30cm. Tiarella are fully hardy perennials and able to cope with cold weather; you can enjoy for years to come.
