A fast-growing anemone which is ideal for naturalising under deciduous trees and shrubs, each spring producing a carpet of faintly scented white flowers, over deeply divided leaves. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers April-May. Height 10cm.
Despite their size on supply, these small dormant rhizomes each carry the stored energy to turn into perfect garden starter plants for setting out in spring or summer.
Growing Information
Prior to planting, anemone bulbs should be soaked in water overnight. Choose a position in full sun on light sandy, well drained soil, and plant them in groups at a depth of 5cm (2″) deep.
