Pinguicula agnata, or butterwort, is a fascinating carnivorous plant that gives any collection of plants a distinctive look. This tiny plant that forms rosettes has succulent, reddish-green leaves that are coated in sticky glands that catch and eat tiny insects. Apart from its carnivorous habits, Pinguicula agnata also has lovely violet-like flowers that bloom on occasion all year long, which give its unusual appearance a delicate beauty.
