Laura Ford
This compact climbing rose bears small, deep yellow, double blooms with a delicate fragrance, against a good covering of glossy, dark green foliage. Unlike many climbing roses, Rose ‘Laura Ford’ bears its flowers across the full height of the plant, and repeat flowers throughout the summer. This eye-catching rose has a compact habit, making it an ideal patio climber. It has also been awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance. Height: 250cm (98″). Spread: 200cm (78″).
Growing Information
Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole. Stems of climbing roses will require training against a suitable support such as a pergola, fence or wall.
