Collection comprises:
Strawberry ‘Honeoye’– Try growing this early season variety with bright red, very firm fruits of superb quality and flavour. Ready to pick from June to early July, this variety is perfect for making your own jams or for freezing to enjoy when out of season.
Strawberry ‘Cambridge Favourite’ the enduring popularity has made it one of the most well-known and best-loved varieties available. This mid-season strawberry produces a bumper crop of juicy orange-red fruits with an excellent flavour and texture from June to July. This superb variety is reliable and tolerant of most situations.
Strawberry ‘Pegasus’– is a mid to late season variety and an RHS award winner. It produces medium large, soft, sweet, and juicy fruit. It prefers slightly heavier soils and is a good choice for organic growing. Resistant to verticillium wilt, crown rot and mildew.
Growing Information
Plant strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny position in well manured, free draining soil. Plant strawberry runners every 45cm (18″) in rows spaced at 75cm (30″) apart. Spread out their roots and place them in the soil at a level
