Syringa Palibin, commonly known as The Korean Dwarf Lilac is a compact but spreading, small-foliaged Lilac with showy lavender-purple flowers spread over the entire shrub canopy. It is widely used as a foundation plant in the garden and group plantings, also for informal or formal hedges, and as a specimen shrub in its own right thanks to it’s low maintenance requirement. It will flower throughout the spring and the summer making it a perfect option for adding colour to summer beds and borders.
The Dwarf Scented Lilac prefers full sun and is happy in both exposed and more sheltered parts of the garden. Syringa Palibin is easy to grow in any moist but well-drained soil, avoiding anything too acidic. Remove faded flowers heads using secateurs and generously apply a mulch of garden compost or manure around the base in early spring.
Supplied as strong plants in approx. 3 litre containers.
