Tell Me More…
An exciting, new and unusual Australian native with bright, tassel-like blooms produced in two flushes – from May to June, then from September to the first frosts. Grevillea juniperina ‘New Blood’ foliage is needle-like and mid to dark green in colour, flowers are visually akin to honeysuckle although flaming red in colour and highly attractive to pollinators and other wildlife. Sure to cause a stir with its unusual and striking looks as well as its abundance of blooms. Grevillea juniperina ‘New Blood’ is perfect for a rockery or gravel garden as well as a container or herbaceous border as it is drought tolerant once established. Also adapts well to coastal gardens. Plants prefer well-drained soil in sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing. A hardy, evergreen shrub which reaches a height of 25cm, with a spread of up to 1.5m.
