Myosotis palustris is commonly known as the Water Forget Me Not. This delicate looking native, deciduous perennial will grow in 5cm of water at a pond’s edge or in a boggy site as required. A reliable plant which will gradually increase its spread and benefit from being divided every 2-3 years. Myosotis ‘Ice Pearl’ flowers in May or June and grows to form a carpet of glossy green leaves accented with dainty white flowers with either a white or yellow eye. It is a soft and subtle way to blend the edges of a pond or bog garden and compliments plants such as Mazus Reptans or Lysichiton. Fully hardy, Myosotis Ice Pearl will grow to a height of 30cm and spread to around 40cm. requires either full sun or part shade to perform well. This robust, trouble-free plant is a white variation of the more widely known pale blue variety and will add special interest to you pond or bog garden.
