Tell Me More…
More tightly packed and condensed than many, Erysimum linifolium ‘Erysistible Magenta’ brings striking blooms from April to September each year. Dramatic shades of pink, purple and orange will bring a kaleidoscope of open and gently scented flowers – great for borders, gravel gardens and containers as well as perfect cut for a vase. You cannot help but admire these beauties and inhale the honey-like perfume, which has just a hint of violets. As they are more compact, plants will not become leggy, as many Erysimum do – just trim back at the end of the season to keep them looking their best over winter as foliage is retained all year. Erysimum linifolium ‘Erysistible Magenta’ prefers well-drained, fertile soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing for best results. A hardy (H5) evergreen perennial which grows to a height of 50cm with a spread of 40cm.
