Description
Prunus ‘Chocolate Ice’ is a small tree with an upright habit in the early years, later spreading as it ages. The deep chocolate-brown young leaves, which have a glistening copper tinge to them, perfectly complement the single blush ice-white flowers in April. This tree makes a fantastic lawn specimen and is of particular interest in spring. This flowering cherry was first introduced to the UK from Japan in 1993.
