Incredibly easy shrubs in a variety of shapes, colours, and sizes to introduce architectural structure to your borders and containers. Known commonly as the Japanese Spindle Tree, they were introduced to Europe in the early 1800’s. The Colourful Euonymus Collection comprises; japonicus ‘El Dorado’ – a dwarf variety with a compact and bushy habit of completely golden foliage, height 60cm, spread 25cm; ‘Green Spire’ – a columnar, narrow shrub with a neat, upright habit, and small green leaves, an excellent alternative to box, height 1m and spread 50cm; and japonicus Aureomarginatus AGM – glossy green foliage with fantastic yellow margins make a rounded shape, quite a statement in borders and containers, height and spread 1m. Happy grown in any aspect in sun or partial shade, preferring moist but well-drained soil. Hardy to around -15°C Aureomarginatus has the RHS classification of H5. All parts may cause severe discomfort if ingested.
