Tell Me More…
A redolent and robust bloom to lend your garden a touch of splendour this summer, and for summers to come. The captivating daisy-like blooms, with deep and decadent double centres, add bright and colourful glamour to your containers, pathways and border edges. Flowers are large – up to 6cm wide – and long-lasting – perfect for a posy or vase. Argyranthemum frutescens ‘Grandaisy Bright Yellow’ is the result of crossing argyranthemum with chrysanthemum to produce a neat, bushy mound of evergreen foliage and copious amounts of easy-going blooms from June to October. Undemanding with regards to maintenance, Argyranthemum frutescens ‘Grandaisy Bright Yellow’ is a vigorous, tender sub-shrub. Often grown as an annual this beauty will need overwintering with protection from frost if you wish to reinvigorate them for the following year. Plants prefer well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay and a position in full sun with a south or east facing aspect, where they will grow to a height and spread of up to 50cm.
