Tell Me More…
Hallmark Hosta Collection brings fantastic, broad-leaved foliage to shine from the shadier areas of the garden. These gorgeous leaves are accompanied by pale, purple-hued flowers in summer, which are held on strong stems. Flowers are ideal for cutting, particularly if you grow hosta plants mostly for their large and decorous leaves, as you get a vase or bouquet with intriguing hosta flowers as an added bonus. Hallmark Hosta Collection brings a trio of plants which hold an RHS Award of Garden Merit for outstanding and reliable performance in the garden. Each is treasured for its unique properties – ‘Paul’s Glory’ is one of the larger varieties with gold centred leaves which intensify and then shift to white as the season progresses; ‘Wide Brim’ has striking, creamy coloured margins to the broad, bluish-green leaves; and ‘Blue Mouse Ears’ is an extremely popular miniature hosta with rounded blue-green leaves.Plants in the Hallmark Hosta Collection are fully hardy, herbaceous perennials which hold their leaves from March to November and flower in June and July each year. They are perfect as groundcover and happily live in containers. All prefer a spot which benefits from moist, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. Collection comprises: ‘Paul’s Glory’ H&S: 1m; ‘Wide Brim’ H: 60cm S: 1m; and ‘Blue Mouse Ears’ H&S: 40cm.
