Tell Me More…
A power-packed and petite variety with exceptional colour and outstanding vigour. Petunia hybrida ‘Itsy Purple’ will fill baskets, containers, raised beds and window boxes with oodles of blooms from June through to September. These beauties will even spread along the ground in a border – suppressing weeds and spreading vibrancy as they grow. Self-cleaning plants mean there is no need to deadhead either – just sweep away the spent flowers to keep things looking tidy. Plant Petunia hybrida ‘Itsy Purple’ in moist, well-drained soil which is loam or sand based. Position where plants can enjoy full sun and any aspect other than north facing for best results. A tender, herbaceous perennial which is most often grown as an annual in the UK. Reaches a height of 15cm with a spread of 30cm and trails to around 40cm. Fabulous for a mixed container on a patio where the smaller blooms will not overly dominate.
