Truly stunning.Dainty sprays of starry, clear blue, forget-me-not-like, funnel-shaped blooms sparkle in spring, followed by dense carpets of attractive, hairy, weed-suppressing groundcover foliage which is evergreen in warmer areas. Also known by the common name Bugloss, which is Greek for ‘ox tongue’, probably referring to the shape and roughness of the leaves, Hadspen Cream has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Deer and rabbit resistant, Brunnera Hadspen Cream is avoided by slugs or snails, perfect for your borders and containers.Although Brunnera, thrive in shade, they will also welcome morning sunshine, the patterned foliage performing best in light shade. Requiring cool, moist soil, Brunnera grow to an approximate height of 34-45cm and spread of 45-60cm. They are fully hardy perennials so you can enjoy them for years to come without the need to give them winter protection.
