Tell Me More…
Flowering long and hard from early summer until autumn, Calibrachoa ‘Can-Can Double PinkTastic’ produces masses of delicate, semi-double blooms. Each petal is cerise at the centre fading out to pale, baby pink and cream – looking almost hand painted in appearance. Flowers are small and bell-shaped, resembling a miniature version of their botanical relative the petunia. The Can-Can series has a loose yet neat appearance and a gentle trailing habit. Just perfect for hanging baskets, containers, and window boxes. Plants in this genus are ‘self-cleaning’, meaning they shed spent flowers, negating the need to deadhead. Prefers well-drained soil or compost of any type in full sun or partial shade and reaches a height and spread of 30cm, trailing by as much as 50cm. Calibrachoa ‘Can-Can Double PinkTastic’ is a tender perennial which is usually treated as an annual in the UK. Alternatively, container grown plants may be overwintered in a frost-free environment for continued perennial grown, a cool greenhouse or conservatory is ideal.
