This carefully packaged 2m x 1m Weed Control Ground Cover Membrane Fabric will not only help prevent any unwelcome plants from emerging it also greatly aids moisture retention in patches of soil too. Use to help establish young plants, bare roots and shrubs in the border or in open ground. Simply peg down, cut and x-shaped hole large enough to accommodate your chosen plant, fold back the corners, dig a hold, plant and firm in, then water in generously. If required gravel, mulch or bark chippings can be placed on top to hide the membrane which will allow water through to plants beneath whilst blocking light from any pesky weeds, restricting their growth.Incredibly useful pegged down in areas where you store planted pots for growing on (either outdoors or in the greenhouse). Weed Control Ground Cover Membrane Fabric stops weeds from growing through in the gaps around them if containers are placed on top of the membrane.
