Centranthus ruber ‘Albus’ thrives when grown from the base of walls or in coastal gardens; it is drought tolerant and blooms almost continuously throughout the summer. Plant Valerian into a well-drained soil in full sun. Plants will also tolerate stony, chalky, difficult soils and will thrive in coastal situations.
