Description
Pyrus ‘Doyenne du Comice’ is a superb quality pear with a vigorous and upright habit. In spring, delicate pure white flowers appear which are later followed by an abundance of mouth-watering pears. The fruit is medium to large, pale green changing to yellow- sometimes with a red flush. Comice pears are renowned for their excellent rich and juicy flavour. To ensure cross pollination plant with another variety from the same flowering group (e.g. ‘Conference’).
