Cucumber ‘Quick Snack’ is a breeding breakthrough, forming a dwarf plant of just 50-60cm tall that bear miniature fruits that measure 5-6cm in length and can be harvested from July through to first frosts. The plant doesn’t require pollination in order to produce fruits, boasting sweet, seedless and non-bitter cucumbers which are ideal for adding to salads or snacking on. ‘Quick Snack’ is an excellent choice for small growing spaces – ideal for balconies, conservatories or even a windowsill!Height: 50-60cm (20-24in). Growing Information
Pot up young plants and grow them on until they are large enough to be transplanted. Maintain a minimum temperature of 15c (60F). Ensure that you grow Cucumber ‘Quick Snack’ in bright light and keep the compost moisture but not wet, to allow the fruit to mature.
Provide some support for your ‘Quick Snack’ cucumber to keep it upright and pinch out the plant when it reaches the top of the supports.
For best flavour, harvest the fruit when it is 1.5 to 2.5 in./4 to 6 cm long. ?
