This big upright conifer is a show-stopping specimen tree. Over time, ascending branches with silvery foliage produce a broad conical shape. Juniperus scopulorum ‘Moonglow’ can also be used as a dense evergreen hedge, providing a welcome alternative to Leyland Cypress. Growing Information
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
