Flag Iris – Clumps of sword-like foliage gives rise to tall stems supporting bright yellow blooms in early summer. Height: 100cm (39″). Spread: 30cm (12″)
Acorus – Perennial with grass-like arching foliage. Height and spread: 40cm (15in).
Typha (Bulrush) – Linear, grey-green foliage and tall stems with brown cylindrical flower heads from July to September that turn into fluffy beige seed heads. Height and spread: 150cm (59″).

Growing Information
Empty the soil mix into the aquatic planting basket, and plant the bareroots so that the growing point sits just below the soil surface. Cover the surface of the soil with the gravel to hold the compost in place. It is recommended that the planting basket is gently submerged in a bucket of water to allow the compost to become completely soaked through. This will allow any loose compost to float to the surface before you position it in its final position – choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot.
The perennials in this collection will need dividing and repotting each spring to maintain their vigour.
