It can be argued that no garden is complete without roses. They come in many forms and this one is a small shrub-like ground covering rose, reaching around 75 centimetres in height with a slightly less width.
From mid-summer beautiful semi-double orange red flowers appear generously over the plant, these are perfectly set off by dark green pinnate foliage. Dead head spent flowers to encourage further planting.
Roses like a good rich loamy soil so it’s good practise to add plenty of organic matter such as well-rotted manure or compost prior to planting, they grow at all aspects but love a sunny position.
These plants are much more impressive if planted in groups, they are great at the base of larger plants.
To keep your roses nice and healthy add a good organic mulch in early spring and add a seaweed liquid fertiliser in late spring. In late winter prune out any spindly growth or crossing/rubbing wood.
Supplied in approx. 1-2 litre containers.
