Hyacinths provide you with scented blooms, and even before flowering they look beautiful, with their incredible roots twisting and weaving around the inside of the jar. Fill the glass with water to just beneath the bulb and place the glass in a cool , dark and well ventilated spot . Remember to check the water levels each week and when the bud of the Hyacinth is 8cm (3″) out of the bulb (after approx 10 to 12 weeks) you can then place wherever you like and enjoy this lovely plant.
