Description
Acer ‘Crimson Sentry’ is a superb specimen tree which is suitable for small to medium sized gardens due to its broadly columnar habit. In spring, pretty yellow flowers that have a red tinge appear on the bare branches. The best feature of this Norway Maple is its outstanding display of leaf colour; new leaves emerge vivid red and are slightly sticky to the touch, they then mature to a rich burgundy before a final burst of orange, brown and red. The tree has exceptional resilience to urban pollution and can be kept in a large array of soils.
