A delightful floribunda variety, Rose ‘Freesia’ is renowned for its clusters of vivid lemon-yellow blooms that brighten any garden area. These flowers are stunning in their colour, but they also have a powerful, zesty perfume that is evocative of real freesia flowers. It offers a long-lasting display of blooms, which are regularly produced in large quantities from early summer until late October.
‘Freesia’ grows best in well-drained soil and is best planted in sunny places where its full colour can show through. It also needs frequent watering and fertilisation using a rose-specific fertiliser. This rose makes a vibrant, fragrant garden showpiece that is ideal for borders and large plantings. Pruning in late winter will help to promote stronger growth and improved flowering. Combine it with purple or blue flowers.
