Growing Information
Will grow with equal success in pots on sunny windowsills, in window boxes, and in tubs on warm patios.
Sowing Information
Sow thinly, direct into finely raked warm, moist, weed-free soil, covering the seed lightly. (Germination in 14-28 days). Thin the seedlings by degrees and transplant resulting plants to the herb border 60cm (24″) apart. Alternatively, sow indoors in a propagator or on a windowsill at a temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) transferring the seedlings into pots and grow on prior to planting out.
