Stunning, almost black foliage with pure and bi-coloured flowers. An impressive focal point in a container or front of the flower bed. Flowers June-October. Height 20-30cm (8-12″); spread 20-30cm (8-12″).
Growing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at around 15-20ºC using a good quality, moist compost, sowing seeds onto the surface. Do not exclude light and maintain moisture. (Germination 14-21 days). Transplant seedlings, spacing them 5cm (2″) apart in seed trays or individual pots. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out after the last frost at a spacing of 15cm (6″) in a sunny position.
