Description
Malus ‘Discovery’ is an upright, spreading tree that becomes covered in pure white, cup-shaped flowers in mid- late spring. The apples are bright crimson, crisp and juicy with a hint of strawberry flavour. Unlike other early fruiting varieties, the fruits keep well for several weeks after they’re harvested in mid August.
To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same or adjacent flowering group (e.g. Arthur Turner).
