This elegant Jasmine is a real showstopper and is a must have this season. It is a deciduous climber, that flowers from June until September and produces masses of star-shaped, scented, white and pink blooms. It bears contrasting fresh green leaflets that cloak its twirling, lengthy stems that enjoy sprawling along walls, fences, obelisks and pergolas. Perfect for planting in a shaded entrance way, ‘Starry Starry Summer Night’ is much loved for its natural gracefulness and delivers on ornamental value all year through. It works well planted in woodland areas, cottage and scented gardening schemes, as well as thriving in mixed borders where it can scramble through other mature shrubs and hedges. It will grow in height and spread to 300cm
Growing Information
Grow Jasmine plants on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. After a period of 7 to 10 days acclimatisation to outdoor conditions, transplant into any moist, well drained soil in a sunny or semi-shaded position with shelter from strong winds. When growing Jasmine be sure to provide the arching stems with an appropriate support such as trellis or wires attached to walls and fences. Tie the shoots into their support as they grow.
