A show stopping fairly new cultivar of climbing Rose that will be covered in brilliant red double blooms that reach up to eight centimetres plus and gather in large clusters and generously spread around the plants frame and backed by stylish dark green foliage. This is a long season Rose, starting its blooms in late spring and continuing through until the autumn. That is not the end of ‘Florentina’ merits, this Rose’s flowers have a fragrance, its individual blooms last for up to two weeks and the whole plant is very disease resistant. A Rose that is a winner in so many ways and worth a spot in any garden. Give it pride of place, against the house or over a pagoda , it will reach a height of three metres, making it very manageable. Dead heading and mulching and a good sunny spot will keep your ‘Florentina’ content.
