Large flowers, up to 10-15cm across, have crimpled petals in bright magenta, white, and pink, as well as dark centers etched with filigree veining. Petunia ‘Superbissima Triumph Mix’ is the largest petunia available, producing masses of exotic blooms that last in containers, baskets, and window boxes. 30-35cm in height (12-14in).
Sowing Information
Sow February to April. Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Lightly cover the seed with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a temperature of between 21-25C (70-75F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 10-21 days.
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart, or plant into containers.
