These multi-coloured cherry tomatoes are purple striped with green, pink with yellow colouration and golden-yellow with orange stripes. Ideal for growing indoors or outside. Extremely heavy crops of delicious, small round fruits that will hold on the vine for an extended period of time with no cracking. Great for fresh tomato, basil, mozzarella and balsamic vinegar salads.
(Cordon variety – one stem grown by pinching off side-shoots as they appear, needs staking and tying in.)
Growing Information
For greenhouse crops, sow Feb-April under glass 18-21°C (65-70°F). Grow in borders, large pots, or growing bags. For outdoor crops, sow April under glass 18-21°C (65-70°F). Grow in warm, sunny positions, allowing 45-60cm (1½-2′) between plants. (16-18 weeks maturity).
Sowing Information
Using a quality compost, sow your seeds in a propagator and cover with 6mm (1/4″) compost. Place on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-21°C (65-70°C) to germinate (usually 4-7 days). Transfer seedlings into 7.5cm (3″) pots and grow on in a warm, light position. Plant out when frost risk has passed. For greenhouse or outdoor growing plant 45-60cm (1 ½-2′;) apart or in 35cm (14″) pots.
Support your plants with a cane and pinch out any side shoots. Feed regularly and do not allow to dry out.
