Sow the seed thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil where the plants are to flower. Lightly rake the seeds into the surface as they require light to germinate. Germination usually takes 7-21 days. As the plants develop thin them in stages to achieve a final spacing of 15cm (6″) for flowering.
