Description
The ‘Hot Raspberry’ is a wonderfully compact Buddleja which features striking magenta-coloured flowers that last for months over summer and into autumn. The flowers are surrounded by the finely pointed green leaves and some leaves have purple splashes on them, which adds further interest. As the common name suggests, this is a fantastic choice for attracting wildlife to your garden – especially butterflies and bees.
With this variety being in the ‘Buzz’ series, you can get all the benefits of having a beautiful Buddleja in your garden without having to compromise planting space; a ‘Buzz’ Buddleja can be planted in a pot on a sunny patio. We love this in a pot on its own as a specimen, but you can also plant it in a sunny bed or border: it looks great alongside a contrasting ‘Buzz’ variety, like the Buddleja buzz ‘Ivory’, as the creamy flowers contrast perfectly with the vivid magenta tones of the ‘Hot Raspberry’.
