Tell Me More…
Beautiful African Lilies with striking, large, rounded clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers. Standing tall on strong, sturdy stems, Agapanthus make a dramatic statement when cut for your indoor flower displays, lasting up to two weeks in a vase.Your collection comprises; Everpanthus ‘Poppin Purple’ – a semi-evergreen variety boasting intensely dark purple blooms for a large, globe-like flowerhead to a height and spread of around 50-60cm; ‘Twister’ – a two-toned beauty with bi-coloured blue and white blooms and semi-evergreen foliage, reaching 80cm high and spreading to 60cm; and Everpanthus ‘Midnight Sky’ – one of the darkest of the family, with evergreen foliage, reaching a height and spread of 50cm. Eye-catching when planted in groups, particularly when grown in containers as a feature on your patio or balcony and are happy in coastal areas with salty sea breezes. Given RHS hardiness ratings of H4 & H5, meaning protection may be required in the very coldest and wettest of winters, Agapanthus prefer to be grown in well-drained soil and full sun.
