Tell Me More…
An exciting new arrival for 2025. The large, open-mouthed blooms of Salvia ‘Peach Melba’ emerge in May and are retained through to October each year. The irresistible shades of pink and peach will light up your borders, rockeries and containers, attracting both pollinators and admiring glances. Held on long, strong stems, flowers enhance the bushy, silvery green foliage beneath which releases a herby scent when brushed past or touched. Ideal for locating near a seating area or alongside a path for the full impact of the joyous, pollinator friendly blooms, lush foliage and rich fragrance. Salvia ‘Peach Melba’ likes a spot in full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing. Happiest in well-drained soil, plants are drought tolerant once they have a good root structure. A semi-evergreen, hardy perennial which holds its foliage from March to November and tolerates temperatures down to between -5 and -10°C without additional winter protection. Matures to a height of 50cm with a spread of 40cm.
