All are low maintenance, pest free, hardy perennials which mature to a height and spread of 50cm over 2-5 years. Loved by butterflies they attract many other pollinators into your garden for added interest and flower prolifically from June right through to September each year. Foliage emerges in March with purple tinges and develops into attractive, compact clumps of verdant leaves from which the upright, slightly arching stems burst forth bearing their star-shaped blooms like magical wands. Perfect for filling gaps in the border or bringing a splash of romantic charm to a container, your collection comprises ‘Compact Pink’, ‘Rose Bicolor’ and ‘White’ – each with varying depths of pink to complement the alluring foliage. Plant in moist, well-drained soil with any aspect other than north facing. Provide this hardy (H4) perennial with full sun or partial shade and any soil other than heavy clay. Stems can even be cut for a vase inside your home and plants can live outside all year without additional protection throughout most of the UK.
